Greetings,
God is the Current
When you look at the inner workings of electrical things, you often see small and big wires, new and old , cheap and expensive, all lined up. Until the current passes through them there will be no light.
That wire is you and me. The current is God. We have the power to let the the current pass through us, use us, and produce the light of the world. Or we can refuse to be used and allow darkness to spread.
The Fiat of the Eternal Father
This is the bottom line. God loves us so much that He will not force Himself on us and often needs a Daily Invitation. Below is one He ask us to pray daily
My Beloved Father Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Be Thou my Father. Be always my Eternal father. Do not leave my soul. Do not abandon me. Do not leave me out of Your sight, my Father, my Father, for I am your child, *whom you created to please You, to adore you, to honor You, living my days as you have given me the license to live it.
( I offer up this Fiat through Mary, to Jesus, to You Eternal Father.)
Here is God's promise to those who recite this daily:
I promise you, you will feel the power of My great Love for you that I will send you day in and day out. But you have to offer me - everyday - as you get up in the morning this FIAT.
A Morning Prayer: God lead me today to all the people I need and to all the people they need me.
The Prayer of Saint Francis of Assisi: That Jesus would give him the love he had for him and all mankind on the cross.
Your assignment for today and everyday:
Let me always feel that whatever I do I am doing it for someone special - Jesus
From Saint Padre Pio:
When you are in need or just want to get closer to God, "Say Jesus I trust in You." Over and over. I have been doing this and I feel a very great present of the Holy Spirit. You can say when you are retiring, walking, doing other task. "Jesus I trust in You." The simple and powerful prayer that Jesus, Himself gave to Saint Faustina along with the Chaplet of Divine Mercy.
