The beginning of production in the Czech Republic (at that time Austrian-Hungarian Empire)dates back to roughly the middle of the 19th century, when the tradition of decorating trees entered Czech households from Germany. The rather complicated production needs a lot of hand-work and is done in three steps. In first stage the body with a neck is made of glass tubes, during the second stage the blown flasks are silvered from inside. During the third stage the flasks are dried, coloured and decorated by hand. Total visitors that have viewed this blog post = 28
