Hello there. I’m going to be editing this later today as I like to draft my posts in a note pad.

My story is an interesting one to say the least.  What you can expect is why I am happy something like THIS exists.

Well I promised an interesting Story, and here it is.

As of Sunday February 2nd of this year (2025) I has been a full year since I moved into the apartment that I am currently living in.

I was housed early last year after having spent 8 months in a homeless shelter since July of the previous year (2023). It made for one of the most devastating Birthdays (11th) I had ever tried to celebrate.  I did take myself out to see the new Live Action Little Mermaid, (which was amazing to say the least) once my assistance check came in.  Even though I forgot my wallet which had my ID in it to prove it was my birthday. Movie tickets were half price that day. (a little birthday gift from the universe)

I ended up being homeless due to being “renovicted” and having very little income to save up for a damage deposit, most of the places I thought I had secured fell through, I decided to go to the shelter just so I would not have extra stress, as I also had to get rid of most my things and put the rest in storage. What made it even worse is my mother had passed away the 21st of April the previous year (2022) She was taken to the Hospital in February of that year and on the same day my best friend at the time had pulled away because she needed to “reconsider our friendship” fast forward to planning my moms wake, I finally get a response from said best friend with her decision to exit my life.  So I lost my mom and my best friend in one fell swoop, and in addition both of the cats we had living with us passed away, the oldest at over 20 years, and my personal cat while under the care of a cat sitter while I was living in the shelter(not her fault she was amazing) And she was between 15-17 years old.

The reason why this story links to why I am glad this site exists, is I have some new motivation on really making it in the world, and continuing to rise from the ashes like the phoenix I’ve become. And I’m doing this after seeing a lot of abuse, injustice, and unfairness displayed towards the unhoused, within rigged and broken systems.  My main objective is to help and to fund pathways to better lives.

I will be using profits and earnings from any financial venture I enroll in to help as much as I can, without recruiting the ever growing community of the unhoused that has become my family.

And because this blog will more then likely shed more bits and pieces of my experiences, I hope that I will gain a following of people who will want to become my referrals in these programs to help this cause.  I won’t be promoting anything too soon in the near future. But I do ask if there is a programme you have not joined but would like to, you can most certainly ask me to join, and I will put a request out there for one of your referral links and we can help each other out referral wise.
