Worm tea, also known as worm compost tea, is a nutrient-rich liquid fertilizer made by steeping worm castings in water. This organic elixir is highly beneficial for gardens and plants, offering a range of uses and advantages.

Benefits of Worm Tea
Nutrient-Rich:
Worm tea is packed with essential nutrients such as nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium, which are crucial for healthy plant growth. It acts like a multivitamin for plants, promoting lush foliage and vibrant blooms

Microbial Boost:
The beneficial microbes in worm tea help break down organic matter in the soil, making nutrients more accessible to plants. This microbial activity enhances soil health and fertility, leading to stronger plants

Disease Resistance:
The microorganisms present in worm tea can help protect plants from various diseases, creating a healthier garden ecosystem. This natural defense mechanism reduces the need for chemical pesticides

Improved Soil Structure:
Regular application of worm tea can improve the soil's ability to retain water and air, facilitating better root growth and overall plant health

Eco-Friendly:
As an organic fertilizer, worm tea is a sustainable option for gardeners looking to enhance their plants without relying on synthetic chemicals. It promotes a natural balance in the garden ecosystem

Uses of Worm Tea
Soil Drench:
Worm tea can be applied directly to the soil to enhance its nutrient content and microbial activity. This helps improve soil structure and fertility, making it easier for plants to absorb essential nutrients.

Foliar Spray:
It can also be used as a foliar spray, allowing plants to absorb nutrients through their leaves. This method can help protect against pests and diseases while providing a quick nutrient boost.

Seedling Preparation:
Applying worm tea to seedlings before planting can increase their survival rate by helping roots take up nutrients more effectively
--------------------------------------------------
Application
Apply either as a soil drench or spray as a foliar feed.
Dilute at 20 to 1 for soil drench or 10 to 1 for foliar feed.
eg.
50ml on 1lt
250ml on 5lt
You can go up to 10 to 1 for big plants and foliar feed.
eg.
100ml on 1lt
500ml on 5lt

When using as a foliar feed add 1tsp liquid dishwash soap per lt mix this helps for more even application.
