LeadsLeap is an awesome site, particularly for building an opt-in list. However, free accounts have a limit of 10 landing pages. You are going to run out real fast if you are a busy marketer. So what is the solution? You can now create landing pages with opt-in forms on the MyBlogSystem site. Both free and upgraded accounts allow you to create lead capture pages on your blogs.

I am not going to dive deep into how to create blog posts. Creating a new blog post is basic stuff, and you can figure that out on your own. Rather, I am going to show you how to put a LeadsLeap lead capture form into your MyBlogSystem blog posts (each post creates an individual page with its own URL). Because each blog post has its own URL, you can use and promote any of these posts as a lead capture page.

Step 1: Retrieve your HTML for your LeadsLeap opt-in form. This is found by going to the List Manager page and looking for the icon that looks like this: </>

Copy that HTML code or stay on the page until you are ready to paste the code into the blog post editor using the steps below.

Step 2: Start a new MyBlogSystem blog post.

In the Manage Blog menu option, select Manage Your Blogs and Blog Posts. On the page that opens, there is an option to Add Post. Click on that. Select the HTML editor. The default is apparently the Basic Editor. Do not use this one. Use the HTML editor.

Step 3: Write the text for your blog post.  This is whatever text you want to write. Because you are creating a lead capture page to build a list, I recommend text that is both catchy and short and primarily Heading 1 or Heading 2 headlines with a little optional text below the headlines. To make text a Heading headline, highlight it and click on the Paragraph menu in the editor. It has Heading 1, Heading 2, etc. My example is below.

Step 4: Enter the HTML for your LeadsLeap opt-in form by selecting the HTML icon. It literally says HTML in the icon, so it is not hard to find.

Step 5: After you are ready, click the Submit Your Blog Post button.

Step 6: A preview of your blog post will be visible on the next page. Approve it if it looks good. Otherwise, choose to edit it again and make any desired changes.
