As usual the week started with Mass at Saint Luke's in Irving, Texas
On Tuesday there was a trip to the bank. Signing birthday cards for the residents.
Then on Wednesday, there was Drum Class. Some of the residents went to Aspen Creek for lunch. In the afternoon, there was a Banana Split Social, which was really good.
On Thursday there was another Drum Class. This class provides great exercise. Later in the afternoon we watched the Irving High School Homecoming Parade, that came down North Britain and went to the west on Union Bower. It was great.
On Friday, some of us went to Dollar Tree. Some had earlier gone to Joe's Coffee Shop for breakfast and in the afternoon some residents went to the Target/Kohls outing.
On Saturday, there was a Classical Music Class, the Rosary, a movie and sangria.
All in all, another great week here at West Fork Village in Irving, Texas, " Where Seniors Thrive."
The Open to The Public Dance is 0n the 15th from 6 to 8 PM. A great time for a very inexpensive outing.
Food and drink are free and there is usually a live band.
